Beef Burgers with Fried Onion and Red Pepper

Ingredients:

2 onions
1 red pepper
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon fresh crushed black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 lean beef burgers
4 tablespoons BERTOLLI olive oil
1 teaspoon dried Herbes de Provence

Directions:

Slice the onions and pepper in thin rings. Mix the chili powder with the cinnamon, pepper and salt. Dust the burgers with this spice mixture. Heat the BERTOLLI olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onions, herbs and pepper until the onions are translucent.Remove from pan and keep warm.Form burger with Burger Mate.Fry the beef burgers for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Put the burgers on a plate and cover with the sautéed onion and pepper rings. Serve with mixed salad and baked or sauté potatoes.
