Ingredients:
3 lb. ground chicken
3 x garlic cloves,minced
3 x shallots, finely chopped
3 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 1/4 Jerk sauce
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 x egg
2 tbsp fresh thyme,tear leaves from stem
3 tbsp fresh parsley,chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Sesame burger buns
1/4 cup butter,room temperature
Directions:
In a small pan, saute garlic and shallots until soft, set aside to cool.Mix remaining ingredients together until combined. Add cooled garlic and shallots to chicken mixture,season with salt and pepper.Fry 1 tbsp of mixture until well done. Taste and then adjust seasoning to mixture accordingly.Shape and form the chicken mixture into patties using BurgerMate.Keep refrigerated until ready to grill. Grill on medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes.Evenly spread butter on both sides of buns.Grill on top rack of BBQ for 2 to 3 minutes.Place Chicken Jerk Burgers between sesame buns,try topping with mango chutney!
